Who is Dr. Stephanie Fabbro?
Dr. Stephanie K. Fabbro, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist in Columbus, Ohio, with over a decade of experience in medical and surgical dermatology. Accepting new patients at Rixis Dermatology, she provides expert care for a wide range of skin conditions. Previously, she practiced at Buckeye Dermatology since 2016. Dr. Fabbro has also served as an assistant professor at The Ohio State University in the Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma clinic and as a clinical ethicist. She is currently a faculty member in the dermatology residency program at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
A native of Ohio, Dr. Fabbro graduated as valedictorian from Our Lady of the Elms in Akron. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences, Magna Cum Laude, from The University of Akron. In 2012, she received her Doctor of Medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. Fabbro completed her internship and dermatology residency at The Ohio State University, where she also completed a fellowship in clinical ethics. As chief dermatology resident, she was honored with the Beiersdorf Resident of Distinction Award. Her extensive training and commitment to excellence make her one of the top dermatologists in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Fabbro is a published author in prestigious medical journals and textbooks, contributing to the advancement of dermatology. Her work includes chapters in "Wolverton’s Comprehensive Dermatologic Drug Therapy" and "Dermatoethics: Contemporary Ethics and Professionalism in Dermatology." She has been published in the Journal of the American Medical Association Oncology, American Medical Association Journal of Ethics, British Journal of Dermatology, Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her contributions reflect her dedication to providing the highest level of care to her patients in Columbus, Ohio.
She belongs to several professional organizations. Dr. Fabbro is a board member of the Ohio Dermatological Association, serving as the chair of the ethics committee, and of the Bioethics Network of Ohio. She is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, serving on their Professionalism and Ethics Committee, and a member of the Ohio State Medical Association.
In her free time, Dr. Fabbro enjoys trying new restaurants, cooking, traveling, music, and exercise. She loves to stay busy with weekly Italian classes, strength training, and hip hop dance classes.
